12 Missing After Helicopter Collides

Off the Northern Coast of Hawaii, two helicopters collided and 12 marines are now missing.  All 12 remain unaccounted for as of Thursday. The Marine Corps and US coast guard is working to find any potential survivors from the collision. When emergency responders arrived on the scene all they found was a life boat with nobody on it with visible flames still arising from the water.  The rough weather, causing waves to grow up to 30-40 feet has not helped make the search any easier.

Dow Sinks More Than 500 Points

As oil prices raised to $30 a barrel, the Dow Jones was down more than 500 points. In the summer of 2014, crude oil was $100 a barrel and this slump has made it much harder to pay off debts because energy profits have been erased. On Thursday the S&P was at its highest since September, and rolling over to Friday everything seemed to reverse.

Trump is Winning

Donald Trump is currently the front runner for the Republican Party, and it was found very surprising that he is arguing that the second place contender does not meet the requirements to be eligible to serve as president. Trump attacks Ted Cruz for being a Canadian born competitor.  Despite Trump's attacks, he is still winning, and other republican competitors cannot figure out how to slow him down. The debate was merely revolved around real political issues, but rather many strikes against each other.

Powerball Winners

The three winning tickets from the largest powerball in history were bought in California, Tennessee, and Florida.  The numbers were 08 27 34 4 19.  People who bought powerball tickets spent 2.6 billion dollars. Though the split winnings are huge, they will have to pay a tremendous amount of taxes on it.  The lump sum total of the winnings was 929.9 million dollars which is still bigger than ever before disregarding the enormous tax bill.
