Navy Limits Sonar Explosives Near Marine Mammals

Sonar explosives can harm dolphins, whales, and other marine mammals, and that is why the navy has agreed to limit their uses of these materials to protect wildlife.  Most people concerns are areas off the southern coast of California and Hawaii.  There had been many environmental groups place law suits against the navy because they had been harming wildlife and their habitats which makes it difficult to train and test in these areas.  The Navy has finally agreed to reduce their use of explosives for the sake of marine life
